A review has found police were justified in using force to arrest a 16 year old

The girl sustained a minor head injury after resisting arrest when police stopped a stolen vehicle in July last year.
The woman was intoxicated - and claims officers pulled her hair and forced her head on the ground, while using inappropriate language.
The Independent Police Conduct Authority has found inconsistencies with her recall of events - and say her claims were unlikely.
Waitemata District Commander Superintendent Naila Hassan says officers face challenging situations every day.
And at times force will be required to safely arrest a person.
