New Zealand's projected to double-dip into recession

New Zealand's projected to double-dip into recession

Latest Infometrics forecasting shows the country's economy remains vulnerable, despite rebounding well from Covid-19's initial impacts.

But chief forecaster Gareth Kiernan is expecting another economic contraction over the next few months into 2021.

He says it will likely stem from more job losses, which starts to hit people's willingness and ability to spend.
