Christchurch residents are being urged to go easy on the water this weekend

Christchurch residents are being urged to go easy on the water this weekend

Temperatures could climb to 27 degrees in the city by Sunday, before a cooler and damper change arrives.

Officials are concerned about a rush to the garden hose, they're asking people not to water the garden between 3pm and 9pm.
