Chrissy Teigen is "back" on social media

The 34-year-old star took a break from Instagram following the tragic loss of her baby son Jack 20 weeks into her pregnancy in September, but now she's happy to be sharing her recipes with fans once again

Sharing a video of some vegetables cooking in the oven, Chrissy said on her Instagram Story: "I've missed posting my cookbook journey.

"I [am] so incredibly proud — it will absolutely be my best ever.

"I got to step away from the world and do something I love, but truly missed being able to bring you along for the journey. I love and missed you guys.

    "I'm back!"

The 'Lip Sync Battle' star also shared videos of herself and four-year-old daughter Luna making shaped pancakes together, with the tot crafting a lion-shaped treat while her mother made one in the shape of an ice cream cone and the other that spelled out her little girl's name.

Chrissy's social media return came on the same day the Sports Illustrated model - who also has two-year-old Miles with husband John Legend - shared an emotional essay about the loss of her baby, in which she recalled her "private goodbyes" to her son.

She wrote: "I’m not sure I’ll ever forget the experience.

"My mom, John and I each held him and said our own private goodbyes, mom sobbing through Thai prayer.

"I asked the nurses to show me his hands and feet and I kissed them over and over and over again. I have no idea when I stopped. It could have been 10 minutes or an hour."

And Chrissy explained that although a "hole was certainly made" by the loss of Jack, it has been filled with "the love of something I loved so much."

She added: "It doesn’t feel empty, this space. It feels full."
