Police have uncovered a card skimming scheme, targeting parking machines at Auckland and Waikato Hospitals
29 October 2020
Three men -- aged 26, 33 and 50 -- have been arrested and charged in relation to the card skimming activities.
The first was caught using a skimmed bank card last Thursday in Glen Eden.
Searches at two Ranui properties the following morning ended with the other two arrests.
It comes after a 37-year-old man was arrested in August after an investigation into alleged skimming at the same machines.
He'll appear in the Auckland District Court in January on multiple fraud-related charges.
Police aren't ruling out further charges.
