The Greens and Labour are set to sign on the dotted line to form the next Government today

The Greens and Labour are set to sign on the dotted line to form the next Government today

The deal between the two party's includes giving the Greens two highest ranking MPs Ministerial portfolios.

Co-leader Marama Davidson will become the Minister for Homelessness and James Shaw is the Minister of Biodiversity.

The Herald's political reporter Jason Walls says this is a generous offer.

He says Davidson and Shaw will have sole control over those portfolios but could be left in the dark when it comes to other issues.
