Experts are warning against using the drug fantasy after an increase in overdoses in Wellington

The depressant -- also known as GHB -- is often dubbed "liquid ecstasy" due to its relaxing, euphoric effects.
A Wellington Emergency Department report shows more people are being admitted with liquid ecstasy overdoses.
ED doctor Paul Quigley says these cases are often a medical emergency.
He says patients often become deeply unconscious, stop breathing, and require life-support.
Dr Quigley says it's concerning that when most patients wake up, they're uncooperative and leave without seeking proper support.
