After Saturday's test in Sydney, there's a fortnight until the final match of the season in Newcastle, again against the Pumas.
Coach Ian Foster says the now-suspended Ofa Tuungafasi is a player they'd likely send home.
The Auckland Tuatara have pulled out of the next Australian Baseball League season - a move that threatens its very existence.
The club says it has exhausted every possible angle to get a season played, but the impact of Covid-19 has been too big of a hurdle to overcome.
However the ABL is furious with the decision, adamant the Tuatara gave no indication until Monday they intended to withdraw.
In a statement Chief Executive Cam Vale says the withdrawal is down to mismanagement by the Auckland club, and it puts its ability to compete in future seasons in doubt.
