A group of Christchurch scientists is at the cutting edge of accident treatment

Pacific Radiology and MARS Bio-Imaging New Zealand are developing a MARS scanner - technology designed to asses wrist injuries.
Once in use it will give emergency doctors an immediate, definitive injury diagnosis, ultimately saving time and money.
Pacific Radiology director Dr Ross Keenan say the MARS will give doctors access to the sort of information usually obtained from a CT scan.
