    Big changes in Auckland's city centre are emerging from behind the road cones


    Shared spaces, pocket parks and waterfront views are just some of the new charms that will be ready to explore soon.

    They include the Westhaven Marine Village building and the Westhaven Promenade by the marina.

    Waitemata and Gulf ward councillor Pippa Coom concedes there's been a lot of construction disruption.

    But she says it's going to transform that part of Auckland -- to everybody's benefit.
