The Undertaker has admitted he would have cried if he was retiring in front of a live audience

Appearing on ITV's 'Good Morning Britain' on Thursday (19.11.20), he said: "Our audience being on monitors, I think I’ll be able to get through it a little easier that way than if I had to actually look out into an ocean of people and make eye contact.

"I might have killed off The Undertaker character for good. A crying Undertaker is not what the world wants to see!"

The 55-year-old star - who will have his 'final farewell' 30 years to the day since he made his WWE debut - admitted he would ove to carry on "forever".

He added: "I’ve been crazy blessed with being able to do something that I love.

"It is very bittersweet, and I have to be completely honest – I’d do it forever. It is gonna leave a huge void in my life.

"It’ll also be nice to be able to make up time with my family, ’cause they’ve had to make huge sacrifices."

Meanwhile, 'Taker also took the time to reflect on his longevity, and the need to stand out from the crowd in the larger than life world of wrestling.

He explained: "I would study all the great horror villains. You can be the greatest wrestler that ever came down the pipe - that doesn't mean you'll be successful.

"You have to be able to identify with your audience and click on an emotional level. That's how you sustain yourself."

Undertaker's WWE farewell as Survivor Series comes months after he hinted he would be hanging up his boots after defeating AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36.
