Police admit they fell short by mishandling a 111 call from Maketu in March last year

When Nevaeh Ager's great grandmother called police, concerned about the child's father, Aaron Izett , they told her they didn't have the power to intervene.
The following morning, Nevaeh was found dead.
Assistant Police Commissioner Tusha Penny says all information relating to a 111 call needs to be compiled in one place.
