    A man's been arrested after police found firearms and drugs at a Lower Hutt home today


    Officers recovered 10 firearms - of which eight had been recently reported stolen.

    A 60-year-old man is in custody charged with unlawful possession of firearms, receiving stolen property, and possession for supply of methamphetamine.

    He'll appear in Hutt Valley District Court on Thursday.
