The UK's National Health Service staff are working through the weekend to prepare for the launch of the country's COVID-19 vaccination program, with the first inoculations taking place from Tuesday

The UK's National Health Service staff are working through the weekend to prepare for the launch of the country's COVID-19 vaccination program, with the first inoculations taking place from Tuesday

There are 50 hubs in the first wave, with more hospitals starting to vaccinate over the coming weeks as the program ramps up.

Patients aged 80 and above who are already attending hospital as an outpatient, and those who are being discharged after a hospital stay, will be among the first to receive the vaccine.
