Takeaway outlets have been the only part of the hospitality industry to have a consistent recovery after the nationwide lockdown

The 2020 Hospitality report is out, and shows sales for the sector plummeted by 40 per cent between April and June.
But, takeaway outlets recorded an 8.4 per cent sales increase in the third quarter of the year - the only part of the industry to record a positive change once life returned to normal.
CEO of the Restaurant Association, Marisa Bidois says the report is confirmation of what they thought anecdotally.
She says it's clear from the numbers people hit their favourite fast food restaurants after lockdown ended.
