The Serious Fraud Office has warned of a likely spike in fraud because of Covid-19

The Government's just released the advice given to incoming ministers on their portfolios.
In its briefing foreword, SFO director Julie Read says the virus has delivered extra challenges to the agency - partly because Government subsidies are an invitation to fraud.
She says we're likely to see more serious financial crime in the coming years because of the economic downturn and recovery.
The SFO's received close to 4 million dollars over three years from the Covid-19 Response and Recovery Fund to tackle fraud and corruption.
