New Zealand is getting out of the red faster than expected -- and could be out of recession by lunchtime

Statistics New Zealand is releasing GDP figures for the September quarter today.
It's expected to show the economy has picked up enough to lift us out of the recession caused by the initial Covid 19 lockdown.
ASB chief economist, Nick Tuffley, says it follows yesterday's half-year economic and fiscal update from Treasury -- which was also positive news.
