There's strong support for the Government to set the standards for how alcohol is marketed

The Advertising Standards Authority is releasing a new Alcohol Advertising and Promotion Code following a review.
It's prompted a call from a collection of health organisations, for the kind of regulation we have for tobacco and vaping.
Alcohol Healthwatch director Nikki Jackson says the evidence is clear - we shouldn't be leaving any kind of alcohol advertising regulation in the hands of the alcohol industry.
She says we can't trust alcohol companies to protect our children from the harms of alcohol marketing.
