The pair, plus eight other leading players have declined selection for three one-day internationals next month and two Tests in February.
Opener Kraigg Brathwaite will take charge of the Test side while middle-order batsman Jason Mohammed will lead the ODI team for a tour where Fabian Allen and Shane Dowrich are also unavailable due to personal reasons.
