Three men in their 50s were rescued near Stewart's Glacier yesterday, after falling 10 to 15 metres.
Search and rescue were alerted to the group after they activated their personal locator beacon yesterday morning.
Senior Search and Rescue Officer Chris Wilson says the men were well equipped for their circumstances and triggered the beacon at the right time.
She says one of the group had a laceration to the leg - a second was slightly hypothermic.
