    Wellington Police are seeking witnesses to a reported gang robbery in the suburb of Northland


    A man and woman in a car at Stellin Memorial Park were approached by a group of men around 6pm on Saturday, some reportedly wearing Nomad gang patches.

    Police say the man was seriously injured in an altercation after one of the group demanded his backpack.

    The group left in a white BMW 525i,, and a silver 1996 Nissan Sunny.

    A 20-year-old has appeared in Wellington District Court in relation to the incident.
