    New Zealand health officials are talking with European counterparts ... after a small number of elderly people have died in Norway, since their Covid-19 vaccination


    The Norwegian Medicines Agency has reported 29 people suffered side effects, 13 fatal, from the vaccine produced by Pfizer-BioNTec.

    New Zealand has secured 1.5 million doses of the vaccine.

    The Ministry of Health says no vaccine will be made available for public use, until it has completed Medsafe's assessment process and been approved as safe.
