    Police continue to investigate after a person was shot in the leg during a dairy robbery in Auckland's Manurewa last night


    They say two offenders, one armed, entered a dairy on Halsey Road about 6.30, before fleeing with cigarettes and cash.

    The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.

    Acting Detective Inspector Warrick Adkin's reassuring the public it's an isolated incident.

    He's asking anyone with information to contact 105 or Crimestoppers.
