Cyclist George Bennett's making the most of training at home before returning to his Spanish base

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

He's finished eighth in the 164-kilometre Gravel-and-Tar race in Manawatu, and will compete at next month's national championships in Cambridge.

The 30-year-old's been granted the honour of spearheading his Jumbo-Visma team's challenge at May's Giro d'Italia grand tour.

Bennett was released from MIQ on December 30 to spend time with family and to guarantee a block of endurance work away from Covid-riddled Europe.
