Rower Mahe Drysdale will line up on the Whanganui River this morning for what may be his last Billy Webb Challenge

Rower Mahe Drysdale will line up on the Whanganui River this morning for what may be his last Billy Webb Challenge

The five-kilometre race is held annually to commemorate Webb's single sculling world champion title defence in 1908.

The 42-year-old says he's raced every year except one, since the event started in 2008.

    The race starts at 11.15am.
