Supercars star Shane van Gisbergen has come from the back of the field to win the New Zealand Grand Prix at Hampton Downs

Supercars star Shane van Gisbergen has come from the back of the field to win the New Zealand Grand Prix at Hampton Downs

van Gisbergen had to start from pit lane after settling off his fire extinguisher - which saw efforts to refill it in time fail and him miss the cut-off time to exit the pit lane.

But he took that in his stride, weaving his way through the field to clinch a remarkable win from fellow Supercars driver Andre Heimgartner
