There's enormous frustration in North Canterbury over the second fire at a tyre stockpile in three years

Firefighters were able to get on top of the blaze at the Amberley yard last night, after it went up in flames yesterday.
Responsibility for getting rid of the roughly 400-thousand tyres is the subject of an ongoing legal squabble.
Residents Association Chairman Roy Myers says he could see the black smoke from 10 kilometres away.
He says the toxicity of the smoke represents a significant danger to the community.
A 63 year-old man has been charged with arson.
