    A pre-draft conversation with FC Cincinnati convinced former Wellington Phoenix academy player Calvin Harris the club would be a great fit for him


    Harris was selected second overall in last month's MLS draft and will join the side for pre-season training in the coming weeks.

    The 20-year-old spoke with the club's head of recruitment, Hunter Freeman before the draft.



    Harris left Wellington in 2019 and has spent the last two years playing for Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
