Good lessons for players and referees around the captains challenge a week out from Super Rugby Aotearoa

Crusaders skipper Codie Taylor had one knocked back by referee Paul Williams in today's game of three halves trial against the Blues, only for Williams to apologise post-match for getting it wrong.

    Taylor explains.

The Crusaders went one from two with a 21-14 victory over the Chiefs before losing to the Blues 26-19.

The Blues beat the Chiefs in the final encounter 14-7.
