Double OIympic gold medallist Mahe Drysdale's coming to terms with a poor result in the single sculls at the national rowing championships in Twizel

The 42-year-old finished fourth, 10 seconds off winner Jack Lopas .

Drysdale was struck with a back injury in July last year and only made a return to training in December.

He says while the results are disappointing, he's keeping everything in perspective.
