Papatoetoe High School has been closed until further notice

Papatoetoe High School has been closed until further notice

Another student at the college has contracted the virus, and is linked to the February outbreak.

The pupil hasn't returned to school and lives in a house with six people, including one sibling who also attends Papatoetoe High.

Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield says all students and staff at school are being re-tested as a result.

He says there is nothing to suggest there is a new strain, however genome sequencing will confirm that.
