    Ten homes have been evacuated in West Auckland as firefighters battle to control a bushfire


    Fire and Emergency crews were called to Upper Harbour Drive in Greenhithe shortly after midday.

    The fire has burnt through four hectares of paddock and vegetation.

    A helicopter is en route to help the eight crews on site - and Upper Harbour Drive is closed.

    There's no reported injuries.
