Kerry Katona has urged Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West to look after themselves and their children

The former Atomic Kitten singer - who has previously divorced Brian McFadden, Mark Croft and late ex George Kay, before meeting fiance Ryan Mahoney - has given the superstar couple some advice amid their high-profile split

Writing in her new! magazine column, she said: "The best advice I can give is, after a divorce, just look after yourself and your kids.

"That's what Kim needs to do more than anything. You need to give yourself time to heal and take into account everything that has happened.

"And learn to love yourself - but I don't think Kim needs to do that!"

Together, Kim and Kanye have kids North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, 21 months.

And Kerry, 40 - who has daughters Molly, 19, and Lilly-Sue, 18, with Brian, Heidi, 13, and Max, 12, with Mark, and six-year-old son Dylan with George - also urged Kim to enjoy being single before seeking another relationship.

She explained: "I also think it's important for Kim to be on her own and find out who she is again without Kanye.

"Going through a separation is one of the most stressful things you can. And when you're ready, Kim, get yourself on Marnii!"

Kerry and her partner Ryan recently announced details of their new dating app, in a bid to help people find their "happy ever after".

She previously said: "I’m releasing a new dating app with Ryan this year called Marnii. The slogan is ‘everybody deserves a happy ever after.’

"We met on an app and some people think they’re not destined for love or don’t deserve it. I've been married, divorced, widowed, I’ve done them all.

"I thought I didn’t deserve to be in a relationship because it doesn’t work. For two years I was lonely, then I met Ryan. It doesn’t matter what you’ve been through, everybody deserves a happy ever after.”
