A person has been charged over an early morning police pursuit in Auckland

Police say they noticed a vehicle speeding in Onehunga about 3am, and tried to use road spikes to stop it in Flat Bush.
The car continued to drive erratically before crashing into trees in East Tamaki.
Police say two people fled on foot but were located by a Police dog handler nearby.
A 19-year-old is due in court this morning on a number of charges, including reckless driving, failing to stop, and breaching bail conditions.
A 23-year-old has been released without charge.
