Emilia Clarke has joined celebrity dating app Raya

The ‘Game of Thrones’ alum is looking for love online, as it has been reported she’s signed up for an account on the exclusive dating app which people can only join if they’ve been invited, and if their application is approved by the Raya moderators

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Dating has been pretty hard in lockdown but some friends talked Emilia into going on Raya. She agreed to give it a whirl.”

However, it seems Emilia could already be done with her time on the site, as a second source claimed she “recently deleted” her profile after being left disappointed with her experience.

The second source said: “She recently deleted her profile as it’s not what she hoped it would be.”

Although the 34-year-old actress was looking for a partner on an elite app designed for “the rich and famous”, she previously revealed she wouldn’t date another movie star because she feels successful actor relationships are "few and far between".

Speaking in March last year, she said: "I am single right now ... Dating in this industry is interesting. I have a lot of funny anecdotes, a lot of stuff I can say at a fun dinner.

"I was [dating actors] but I'm not now. I mean, I wouldn't say I've completely sworn off them, but I do think actor relationships that are successful are few and far between, and you have to have a ton of trust."

Meanwhile, Emilia also admitted she likes to distance herself from fame as much as possible, and has made it a rule to never look herself up on Google.

She explained: "I never look at the internet. I have a rule: I just don't Google myself.

"I'm on social media but I don't look at the stuff that other people tag me in because it messes me up.

"If you hate me, I don't need to know.

"I can barely even look at myself on the screen, so I keep a very big distance from it, and if anyone ever says anything really lovely, or something wonderful happens, someone will tell me.

"And then if it's something bad, my mum will probably tell me."
