Mourners are clashing with police at a vigil for a brutally murdered British woman

Mourners are clashing with police at a vigil for a brutally murdered British woman

Police officer Wayne Couzens faced a London court today - accused of kidnapping and killing Sarah Everard.

The 33-year-old went missing earlier this month... her body was found inside a builder's bag in a forest in Kent.

Police refused permission for a vigil to be held because of lockdown rules.

But organiser Caitlin Prowle says they'd arranged Covid-19 marshals to be there, with support from the council.

People have arrived for the vigil anyway, and are reportedly chanting "shame on you" at police.
