The data, released under the Official Information Act, reveals more than 10-thousand-500 tickets were issued.
The worst offender was clocked in 2018 doing 111 kilometres an hour in a 50 k speed zone -- on Great South Road in Otahuhu.
A further 553 fines were also issued for bus drivers who were caught running red lights in the city.
An Auckland Transport spokesperson says they're always working with operators around safety and also alter light phasing when issues are identified.
