    Bright news for Shane van Gisbergen's hopes of racing this weekend at the second Supercars round at Sandown


    The kiwi driver and series leader's participation has been in doubt since he broke his collarbone in a mountain bike accident this month.

    He says it's still sore, but he has got some practice laps under his belt.

    With practice not until Saturday, van Gisbergen is optimistic of being fit.
