Michael Eugenio Navarro has appeared in the Auckland High Court today, pleading guilty to possessing the class A drug.
The 27-year-old was arrested in 2019 alongside accomplice Alan Tran, after Police found a stash of methamphetamine and cash at an Auckland storage unit.
Navarro told border security he was here visiting a sick family member, but provided no contact details - raising suspicions that ultimately led to the drug bust.
Tran was jailed for 14-years last October for his part in the offending.
