More than 140 million dollars has been paid for the wage subsidy scheme during the latest lockdown

The scheme restarted during Auckland's Level Three restrictions at the end of February, with the rest of the country at Level Two.
Business eligibility included a 40 percent decline in revenue - compared to a typical two-week period in the six weeks before.
Almost 55 thousand applications have been approved.
Applications close at midnight on Sunday.
