The United States has reached the target of 100 million coronavirus shots, more than a month early

President Biden wanted the job done by his 100th day in office.

Currently, around two and a half million Americans a day are being vaccinated.

It's expected the US will have enough of the three authorised vaccines to cover its entire adult population, in the next couple of months.
