    Twelve people are injured, and one seriously, after a jet-boat crash near Queenstown


    Emergency services were called to the crash at about midday on the Shotover River, upstream from the State Highway 6 bridge.

    Five people were flown to Lakes District Hospital, with four in a moderate condition and one suffering serious injuries.

    The other seven people were assessed and treated at the scene.
