    Questions over the vaccination status of an MIQ worker with Covid-19


    The Ministry of Health last night confirmed a worker from Auckland's Grand Millennium Hotel had contracted the virus.

    The person is now isolating at home with their family, with an investigation underway.

    Otago University Wellington epidemiologist Professor Michael Baker says whether the person had their first dose of the vaccine will be crucial.

    He says by now all MIQ workers should have been vaccinated with their first dose of the virus.
