There's caution from at least one bank about loosening up banking criteria for first home buyers

The Government's put a range of measures in place to help them on to the property ladder.
However, advocates for first home buyers want them to be given separate banking criteria, secured by the Government.
ANZ CEO Antonia Watson says having a high loan to value ratio isn't good for first home buyers.
She says the bank would always want to see a decent record of savings and deposit, and affordability and serviceability for the loan once its taken out.
