World Rugby will tip in 2.4 million dollars per year for a three year period to get the Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika off the ground.

The objective is to boost the Pacific region's performances on the international stage and provide a pathway for the best talent over an initial three-year period.
Both franchises will also be supported by their unions and private equity funding.
