Uber says criticism of its new alcohol delivery service in Auckland is misinformed

It's prompted criticism, including from the Maori Health Group - which has called it irresponsible and out of touch.

But Uber insists it has processes to ensure responsible and safe consumption.

It says it only delivers between 10am and 1030 at night, all advertising will be responsible ... and drivers who opt-in will be given educational material.
