Police are monitoring an online fight between two Christchurch high schools over sexual harassment

Police are monitoring an online fight between two Christchurch high schools over sexual harassment

Students at Christchurch Girls' High School had been planning to hold a protest at Christchurch Boys' High School yesterday -- following a dispute on social media.

Police say they stepped in to stop the protest, and have been providing advice and support to the students involved.

The boys school was the subject of graffiti this week, highlighting sexual harassment and LGBT rights.
