Calls for international solidarity in the wake of shocking violence in Myanmar

More than 100 civilians have been killed in the bloodiest day of protests - since the military coup last month.
A former US Ambassador to Myanmar warns it's necessary for world leaders to put pressure on the regime.
But Derek Mitchell says strong worded statements alone aren't enough to stop bloodshed.
He says countries can take action - like the US, UK and EU who have imposed sanctions - which cuts off funds.
