A Christchurch principal says under-resourced specialist schools are getting left behind

Teachers are taking part in a review of primary school staffing.
Puaotanga is funded by the primary teachers' union...but has an independent panel.
Ferndale School Principal, Maureen Poulter says a lot of people work behind the scenes at a specialist school like hers.
She oversees 90 staff and says resources are already stretched thin -- before she even thinks of her students.
