A fresh start for light rail in Auckland

The Transport Minister is setting up a unit to work on ideas for the project, and spend the next six months finding out what Aucklanders think.
Greater Auckland director Matt Lowrie says there's been a lot of misinformation over the past three years.
He says having some clarification around the process, and getting Aucklanders involved, is a critical step.
Lowrie says history has shown us when we decisions are made by Wellington bureaucrats on big Auckland investments it doesn't always end well for Auckland.
He says having Auckland involved from the get-go, is going to be really important.
